    YuJa Video Conference Platform – Update RC20230113 Released to US, CAN, and EU Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all Video Conference Platform instances residing in the United States, Canada, and the European Union. This update provides our users with an increased number of video participants, audio sharing, a profanity filter for live chats, and faster response times for the Video Conference web application.

    1. Increased Number of Video Participants to 140
      In continuing to enhance the overall collaborative experience, we have increased the number of simultaneous video participants to 140 and dial-in users to eight. We intend to incrementally increase video participants in future updates to attain 200 on-video participants.Video Conference Galley View
    2. Share System Audio in a Screen Share
      As an integral part of sharing, Video Conference sharing now allows Presenters to share their audio source when presenting a screen.
    3. Live Chat Profanity Filter
      To provide a clean and professional experience to our users, the live chat profanity filter will automatically detect and censor inappropriate language during live sessions.  
    4. Performance Improvements
      Owners and presenters will notice faster front-end webapp response times when using the Video Conference application.

    YuJa Video Conference Platform – Update RC20221210 Released to US, CAN, and EU Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all Video Conference Platform instances residing in the United States, Canada, and the European Union. This update provides our users with the re-release of our Video Conference mobile app and an increased number of video participants.

    1. YuJa Video Conference Mobile Release
      We have re-released our Video Conference mobile app for IOS and Android to provide a secure and reliable experience similar to our desktop application. Mobile Video Conference attendees will be able to view shared screens and a list of participants. They will also have access to the live chat feature to engage with others during the session.

    2. Increased Number of Video Participants to 120
      In continuing to enhance the overall collaborative experience, we have increased the number of simultaneous video participants to 120 and dial-in users to six.     YuJa Video Conference Platform – Update RC20221018 Released to US, CAN, and EU Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all Video Conference platform instances residing in the United States, Canada, and the European Union. This update provides our users with an increased number of video participants, support for HD webcams, live chat engagement through emoji reactions, the ability to open a screenshare in a separate tab, and improved stability.

    1. Increased Number of Video Participants to 100
      In continuing to enhance the overall collaborative experience, we have increased the number of simultaneous video participants to 100. For future releases, we intend to continue our efforts to attain 200 on-video participants.

    2. Support for HD Webcams
      Participants may now take advantage of their HD webcams. Stream and record high-definition videos on our Video Conference platform.
    3. Live Chat Engagement Through Emoji Reactions
      Express yourself with emoji reactions! By providing a fun alternative to engage with the live chat, we continue to foster new experiences to enhance the quality of our Video Conference platform.

    4. View Screenshare in Separate Tab
      To provide more flexibility with how participants view the Video Conference platform, we have implemented a feature to open a live Screenshare within a new tab. Participants now have the freedom to move the Screenshare and enlarge the video.
    5. Improved Video Conference Stability
      In an effort to significantly improve user experience, we have adjusted our back-end server support to provide better connectivity. For future releases, we intend to improve our protocols on network trafficking to include support for firewalls and VPN settings.

    Video Conference Platform – Update RC20220524 Released to all Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all instances residing in the United States, Canada and the European Union. This release focuses on implementing the ability to add a virtual background, enhancing sharing capabilities and providing Meeting Owners with the option to manage the Waiting Room.

    1. Ability to Use Virtual Backgrounds during Video Conference Sessions
      Virtual Backgrounds can be used to create a sense organization when participating in a Video Conference. With real time technology, Meeting Owners and all participants can utilize Visual Effects, choosing between various virtual backgrounds to utilize. In future releases, we look to optimize the Visual Effects so they can efficiently run on all hardware setups. To learn more about this feature, please click here.
    2. Improved Waiting Room Experience
      Previously, the Waiting Room was only active until the moment the Meeting Owner joined a meeting. In an effort to make the Waiting Room more dynamic and provide Meeting Owners with the power to manage the Waiting Room. They now have the option to let in users on an individual basis or all at once. They also have the ability to delegate this responsibility to an admitted user.
    3. Enhanced Compatibility with Microsoft Edge
      Continuing our efforts to deliver a seamless user experience in all browsers, Microsoft Edge users will now be able to utilize screen sharing capabilities.
    4. New “Dark Mode” Notification Theme Available
      Notifications are now easier to view with dark and light themes on contrasting panels.
    5. Enhanced Document and Whiteboard Sharing and Downloading Experience
      To optimize the document and Whiteboard sharing experience, all uploaded documents and Whiteboard creations are no longer infinitely scrollable, making it easier to track where users are currently viewing. The document and Whiteboard download experience has been enhanced to seamlessly allow users the ability download the document and Whiteboard to their device.
    6. Improved Video Conference Stability
      In an effort to significantly improve user experience, we have adjusted our front-end support for document uploads. For future releases, we intend to increase file sharing size while continuing to provide stability on our video conference platform.
    7. New “Line” Tool Available in Whiteboard
      Adding to the tools available in the Whiteboard, Meeting Owners and Presenters will be able to utilize the Line Tool to facilitate discussions. To learn more about this feature, please click here.
    8. Mobile Compatibility Release
      Updated versions of the Video Conference app for iOS and Android are now available.

    Video Conference Platform – Update RC20220513 to all Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all instances residing in the United States, Canada and the European Union. This release focuses on adding additional participants on video, improving connection stability and improving speaker detection.

    1. Expansion of Gallery View to Allow 25 Users with the use of Pagination
      Continuing our efforts to facilitate large user Video Conference sessions, the Gallery View has been updated to show up to 25 users to a page. Working in conjunction with our enhanced speaker detection.
    2. Improved Speaker Detection
      A new speaker logic was implemented to more accurately recognize the direct speaker, as opposed to catching background noise, bringing the speaker to the main view. In addition, this improvement will lower CPU usage, allowing your device to perform at a more optimal level.
    3. Updated UI to Mirror Performance Optimization and Enhanced Speaker Detection Logic
      Adding the use of pagination to make better use of the space and colored indicators to indicate who is speaking.
    4. Support Video Conference Access via Microsoft Edge
      We are pleased to announce our compatibility with Microsoft Edge. In addition to Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari, users will now be able to launch and access Video Conference sessions with Microsoft Edge.
    5. Enhance Responsiveness of Media Sources
      To improve the user experience, the audio and video source can be toggled on/off in a seamless manner, allowing users to quickly and easily participate in the discussion.
    6. Improve Stability of Video Conference Sessions
      Through a bundle of changes, including the use of a dedicated server and a centralized connection state store, users will now experience fewer connection-related issues and faster response times when utilizing source selection toggles.

    Video Conference Platform – Update RC20220121 to all Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all instances residing in the United States, Canada and the European Union. This release focuses on providing users a refreshed UI layout that is aesthetically and functionally pleasing.

    1.  Refreshed UI Layout + Increased Number of Video Participants                                                                                                                        In addition to providing users a refreshed UI layout, we have increased the number of on-video participants to 20 (with up to 200 total participants as before). This allows for the easier exchange of ideas and enhance overall collaborative experience. For future releases, we intend to increase the number of participants to 25 and incrementally through the course of 2022 attaining 200 on-video participants.

    2. Ability to Switch Between Sidebar View and Gallery View                                                                                                                             Users can now select a view type that best caters to their needs. Participants can opt to hold their meetings in the Sidebar View (as depicted above), allowing them to easily view all participants through the pagination feature. Or, they can opt for the traditional Gallery View. For future releases, we intend to provide more functional opportunities such as the ability to pin viewers.

    Video Conference Platform – Update RC20211119 to all Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all instances residing in the United States, Canada and the European Union. This update aims to provide users an enhanced experience through optimization upgrades on their PC and on their Video Conference applications on Android 1.2.0 and iOS 1.1.0

    1. Increased Number of Video Presenters
      We has successfully increased the maximum capacity of presenters that can participate in a Video Conference from twelve to sixteen (in addition to about 200 more non-video participants). This update will facilitate greater collaboration and allow for the easier sharing of ideas. We intend to further increase the number of presenters in future releases. 
    2. Enhanced Microphone and Audio Selection
      Prior to joining a video conference, users can opt to join with their default microphone and speaker or choose from the connected sources available. The Video Conference also supports dynamic source switching during an active video conference, allowing users to make changes to their microphone and speaker source.

    3. Optimized Loading and Downloading
      We performed a webpack integration to reduce bundle sizes in order to allow for users to experience faster loading time and reduced memory storage.
    4. Update Reflected in Mobile Applications
      In order to provide mobile users the same enhanced experience, the Video Conference application has been updated, which entailed resolving minor bugs and making general improvements, to support this release.

    Video Conference Platform – Update iOS App v1.0.0 Update Released to All Zones

    We have successfully published Version 1.0.0 of the YuJa Video Conference for iOS application to the App Store. This application provides the ability to attend video conferences on iOS phones and tablet devices. Click here to learn more about the new iOS application.

    1. Audio, Video, Screen Sharing, and Chat Capabilities
      Attend a video conference session with the ability to participate over video, audio, screen, and chat.
       
    2. New Meeting Code Capability to Quickly Join a Meeting
      The web-based Video Conference application within the Meeting Info screen now provides a 7-digit Meeting Code which can be used to join a video conference within the iOS application.
       
    3. Screen View Supports Both Portrait and Landscape Views
      The Screen view is compatible with both portrait and landscape views.
       
    4. Users Tab Provides Current Attendee List
      The User tab provides a listing of attendees and their current sources available. In future releases, additional participant management capabilities will be integrated into this view.
       
    5. Real-Time Chat Capabilities
      Participate in a real-time chat session while inside a video conference session.

    Video Conference Platform – Update RC20210903 Released to All Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all Video Conference instances residing in the United States, Canada and the European Union. This release was primarily focused on internal scalability improvements and performance of key functionality.

    1. Eject a User
      With more Instructors moving to Video Conferencing to teach their classes, sometimes bad actors can get ahold of the Video Conference link. Now, Meeting Owners can Eject a User from a Video Conference Session and keep them out by preventing the user from rejoining.
       
    2. Spanish and Portuguese Support
      We’ve begun the work to start localizing products for Spanish and Portuguese speaking users. With this release, users are able to view the Video Conference Platform in Spanish and Portuguese. Click here to learn how to change the Video Platform’s preferred language.
       
    3. Click-and-Go Video Conference Scheduler
      A newly redesigned Video Conference Scheduler makes it even easier for meeting owners to start their own sessions with a few clicks. Use the latest UI to toggle session settings like Recording or Waiting Rooms, or switch between joining your personal meeting room and starting a brand new session on the fly.     4. Smaller Bug Fixes and Improvements
      Multiple Video Conference improvements have been made to improve network scalability for larger video conference sessions, decrease load times for Attendees and more.

    Video Conference Platform – Update RC20210616 Released to All Zones

    We have successfully pushed an update to all Video Conference instances residing in the United States, Canada and the European Union. This release was primarily focused on internal scalability improvements, performance of key functionality, as well as fixes and product improvements.

    1. Participant Waiting Rooms
      We’ve added additional support for our upcoming Waiting Rooms feature. After our next Video Platform update, users who join a Waiting Room-enabled Video Conference early will be directed to a Waiting Room while they wait for the meeting owner to join.     2. Personal Meeting Rooms
      New permanent Personal Meeting Room support has been added to the Video Conference Platform. After our next Video Platform update, users can share Personal Meeting Room Links with meeting attendees that should always remain accessible.     3. Advanced Audit Logging
